Emergency Leave

Dear VESD Family:

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) takes effect April 1, 2020.  This act is for employees that the District has identified as essential and we are requiring that they report to work. As a reminder, employees that are not considered essential at this time are on Paid Admin leave and are receiving their pay.  At any time, the District may add or reduce the number of essential employees.

We have created a chart to help explain what the (FFCRA) provides.  Please keep in mind this leave is in addition to any leave or vacation you have earned in your district position. 

We have created a form for you to use to request the leave, please read and complete the form carefully.  The link to the request form and information about the FFCRA can be found below.
