Principal's Message

Dear Village Families,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!  I am very honored and excited that you have chosen our school for your child’s education.  I want to assure you that your children are in very good hands with our exceptional staff.   We work very hard to make sure your students are offered the very best education possible.

Our school continuously looks for ways to advance our focus on S.T.E.A.M. – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.  In addition to a strong emphasis on the Common Core State Standards in language arts and math, you’ll find that our school also offers classes in fun and innovative subjects like robotics, coding, music, 3D printing, and art, to name a few.  Our goal is to provide a well-rounded education for our students and help them be prepared with 21st century skills.

Whether you have a returning or a newly enrolled student, I would like to encourage you to become involved in our various parent activities and volunteer opportunities that are offered throughout the school year.  We strive to partner with you in your student’s education so please sign up for a parent volunteer training early in the year.

Lastly, please know that student safety is our top priority.  Therefore, our school implements a safe and secure campus.   This means that only enrolled Village students will be allowed on campus.  All adults and visitors who wish to enter campus must sign in through the office and present a valid ID and purpose.  This way, we can monitor who is on campus and ensure the safety of your children.

I look forward to meeting all of you soon.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
