Word Processing Assessment 3
Second Grade
Once upon a time there lived a young frog who often sat upon
a very soft lily pad.
His name was Sniffy.
Probably because he liked flowers.
One day, Sniffy was scrubbing his toes in the pond. He felt something moving
in the water!
Phew! It was his friend, Fluffy, a small fish from just up the pond. She
giggled and said, “Your feet sure don’t smell like flowers!”
