Victor Elementary School District offers health and welfare benefits to all eligible employees. Our goal is to provide resources to keep you informed so that you may utilize the plan benefits to their fullest potential.

Remember, if you receive a large medical billing for services such as hospitalization, out patient surgery, MRI or ER services (less a member copay of $250 for ER), submit a claim to our bridge plan administrator, Grenz Benefit Solutions Administrators or call the HUB Employee Advocacy Hotline 877-838-4779.

•  NEW  
Mutual of Omaha is the new basic life and supplemental life insurance provider through High Desert Trust effective 7/1/21. Benefits are the same and transition to the new provider is automatic. No action needed by currently enrolled employees.  New enrollment or changes to supplemental life insurance made during open enrollment will become effective 7/1/21.

•   Open Enrollment was held May 3 - May 21, 2021
Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes or corrections to your insurance. Changes made during open enrollment become effective July 1st.


• 2021/2022 Part Time Classified Employee Insurance Costs 
Cost information is provided for Part Time Classified Employees interested in purchasing medical insurance.  The cost to enroll in medical insurance is prorated, based on your position hours.

 Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Aetna offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees who are enrolled in a district medical plan with Aetna or Kaiser.  An EAP is designed to assist employees by providing resources such as counseling services, legal services financial services and a variety of other work life resources.  This is a free confidential service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  EAP returning to work after COVID-19 shutdown flyer.

Reminders...


  Change in Legal Marital Status
Notify Personnel Services as soon as possible if you've had a change in legal marital status, including marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment, or death of a spouse in order to submit enrollment change forms within the required 30 day window.  Scroll to bottom of page to download forms.

  New Spouse or Newborn Child
Coverage for a new spouse or newborn child is not automatic.  If you experience a change in family status you have 30 days to update your coverage.  Contact Personnel Services immediately to complete the appropriate forms.   If you do not update your coverage within 30 days from the family status change, you will have to wait until the next annual open enrollment period to update your coverage. Adding a Dependent?
Changes that involve adding dependents due to marriage, birth, or adoption of a child, must be reported within 30 days of the event. A marriage or birth certificate is required when adding a dependent to the insurance.
