Leadership Academy

GTE.jpgMission Statement: Our mission is to provide all students with the academic skills, experiences, and support necessary to enter college and the career workforce with a highly developed set of leadership skills. We believe 21st century leaders inspire and empower the next generation.

GTELA Student Dress Code Policy

Green Tree East Leadership Academy has a school-wide policy that reflects our shared commitment to developing “Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Leaders.”  The purpose and mission of our dress code is to instill in our students an appreciation for reflecting leadership in their appearance and conduct every day.

  • Tops:  Students must wear a shirt with a collar and sleeves (polo shirts are most common).  GTELA school spirit shirts are appropriate to wear at any time

  • Bottoms: (jeans, pants, shorts, skirts) must be at least fingertip length.  Leggings are not permitted by themselves; they must be covered by appropriate length shorts or skirts.  It is recommended that shorts be worn under skirts/dresses

  • Every Friday is personal choice day (students may choose to wear appropriate t-shirts).  GTELA Student Council also designates monthly Friday theme/spirit days with optional special dress opportunities

  • Please remember that recess and PE occurs every day and we do not have facilities for students to change clothing for physical activity.  Clothing, footwear and jewelry must allow students to be safe in these pursuits

  • Regardless of the day of the week, all students must comply with the Victor Elementary School District Dress and Grooming Policy below

School Accountability Report Card

Current SARC - Click here and enter "Victorville" in the search box

The governing boards of California school districts must annually prepare and issue the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for each elementary and secondary school under their jurisdiction. SARC reports are required by law to provide parents, the local business community, and interested parties with important information about a school's progress in 16 key areas. These conditions cover such topics as progress toward meeting goals in reading, writing, and arithmetic progress toward reducing dropout rates and the amount of funds spent on salaries and other services. The School Accountability Report Card was established by Proposition 98, an initiative passed by California voters in November of 1988.
The School Accountability Report card is in Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format. If you do not have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download and install a copy, without charge, by clicking on the banner below and following the instructions.
