The Mission of Mountain View Montessori is to provide a unique learning environment consistent with Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision for students in the Kindergarten through the sixth grade. The school will provide individualized education in a multiage classroom environment. The students will develop the academic skills necessary to meet the challenges that face them as they pursue life-long learning opportunities.
This is our 2009 / 2010 School Calendar. It has some important dates for you to be aware of, such as first & last days of school, school holidays, and our trimester dates. |
First day of school / School Hours Our first day of school will be September 8, 2009. Our school hours are from 8:25 a.m. to 2:44 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:25 a.m. - 12:44 p.m. on Fridays. You may drop off your children as early as 8:15 a.m. but please make sure to be prompt in picking them up. Thank you. |
Inclement Weather In the event school is canceled due to inclement weather local radio stations (Y102, KATJ, Y105, or 960 TALK radio) will announce closures beginning at 6:00 a.m. Listen for cancellations for the Victor Elementary School District. The decision to cancel school is decided by the Director of Transportation along with the Director of Maintenance and Operations. |
