The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a tool used by school districts in California to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes. It is a critical part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which is designed to increase local decision-making authority and ensure that funds are directed to the needs of students. In addition to the LCAP, this page provides access to our financial reports and budgets, offering a comprehensive view of how we allocate resources to meet our goals.
At VESD, we are dedicated to including all of our educational partners in this process. To find out how you can be involved, contact your school directly.
