Puesta del Sol earned Platinum and Brentwood earned Silver in California PBIS’s statewide recognition program. These honors celebrate schools that build safe, supportive, and thriving learning environments through evidence-based practices.

Our Child Welfare & Attendance (CWAL) team makes supportive home visits—especially to TK and Kindergarten families at the start of the year—and helps all families by removing attendance barriers and connecting them with vital resources.

The Victor Elementary Education Foundation has awarded $3,500 scholarships to 11 outstanding former VESD students to support their next steps in higher education.

Brentwood and Lomitas now offer a TK–6 Independent Study program that lets students learn from home with dedicated teacher support and a district‑provided Chromebook.

Victor Elementary School District has received a $14.25 million state grant to expand Family Resource Center services through a new Community Schools initiative. While the grant supports 10 school sites, families at all 18 VESD schools will have access to increased resources like parenting classes, mental health referrals, and more—ensuring students are supported and ready to learn.

Our commitment to fostering exceptional learning environments drives our efforts to enhance and expand school facilities across the district. As we plan for the future, we’re excited to share updates on modernization projects and the development of a new school to better serve our growing community.

The Family Resource Center, established to strengthen partnerships between schools and families, offers a wide range of support services and resources through its eight satellite centers, focusing on community engagement, student success, and family well-being.

We’re thrilled to share that, through our participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program, all VESD students enjoy free breakfast and lunch daily! This initiative ensures that every child, regardless of background, has access to the healthy meals they need to thrive.
