Thanks for taking the time to visit the safety department!

Our schools are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all students and staff. During school hours, all gates and entrance points are securely locked, and entry is only permitted through the main office.

Visitors must be screened through the Raptor Visitor Management System, which uses nationwide law enforcement databases to identify potential threats. Once approved, visitors are issued photo IDs that must be visibly worn at all times while on campus. This ensures we can accurately monitor and track all visitors for enhanced security.

We are proud to have four dedicated deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department assigned to our schools. Funded by the VESD budget, these deputies collaborate closely with school officials and exclusively patrol our campuses during school hours, ensuring a continuous presence of law enforcement.

Our campus doors are equipped with advanced security devices, enabling quick and easy locking in the event of an emergency. Additionally, surveillance cameras strategically placed around the campus, including the parking lot and main office, provide continuous monitoring and added security.

To ensure readiness, our schools regularly conduct comprehensive drills for lockdowns, earthquakes, and other emergency situations. These drills are conducted in partnership with law enforcement and other relevant agencies, ensuring they are both practical and effective.

Our comprehensive security measures reflect our unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our school community.
