Most Common Issues:

*Problem: My Zoom volume is too loud/static/robotic*

Solution: Click on the time at bottom right of the screen to bring up a small pop-up menu. At the bottom of the menu there will be a volume slider with a speaker on the front end and arrow on the back end. Click on that arrow to get to the settings. The Mic setting should be in the middle of the bar. Also, open the Zoom pp by clicking on the blue camera at the bottom of the Chromebook. In the top right hand corner is a small flower that says "Settings." Go to Audio. From there make sure that the button "Automatically adjust volume" is clicked. Exit and test it out.

Check Mic (make sure you "Allow" website to use mic): CHECK MIC test
Fix volume

*Problem: My Chromebook doesn't turn on*

Keyboard

Make sure it is unplugged. Hold the refresh button (circle arrow 4th button top left of keyboard) then press the power button at the exact same time for 5 seconds. Then close the lid. Open lid, plug it in and push power button to turn on.

*Problem: My hotspot isn't working*

Hotspot issue #1: It says bad password/ Password isn't working (if it states password is no 12345678)

Hotspot issue #2: The light is flashing green but no display

Remove the back of the hotspot (there is a small slit to stick your fingernail into and pop off the back), remove battery for 10 seconds, put battery back in, then press and hold the reset button above battery for 5 seconds. The device will display “factory reset in progress” then will reset. You can follow through with the Hotspot and set up your Wifi.
